- India makes history on the moon
On August 23, India did something exciting!
The country sent a spacecraft to the Moon.
Now, four countries have safely landed spacecraft on the Moon.
The other three are China, the USSR, and the United States.
India is different from the others.
Its spacecraft landed near the Moon’s south pole.
No one has ever landed on this part of the Moon before.
The Moon’s south pole is rocky, and it has many craters and holes.
It is a very hard place to land and it was cold.
Some parts are colder than Pluto!
India’ spacecraft studied the Moon’s soil.
Then, night began on the moon.
The spacecraft cannot work in the dark.
It needs power from the Sun.
It had to shut down.
Luckily, it had already finished its work.
This moon landing was a big success!

2. The question mark in space?
In june, the European Space Agency shared a picture.
It showed two stars forming.
A strong telescope took the picture.
They saw something strange in the background!
They saw a tiny little question mark!
People wondered what it meant.
Was it a message, or someone put it there as a joke?
Scientists do not have all the answers.
They think it is two or more galaxies bumping into each other.
This happens all the time.
Still, Scientists wants to study the “question mark”.
It may help them learn more about galaxies.
